Hispanic Church Planter/Pastor
Reports to: Senior Pastor of Aspire Church San Marco
Department: Aspire Family of Churches
Status: Part-Time
Basic Purpose
The Hispanic Church Planter/Pastor is responsible for launching and leading a Spanish-speaking congregation in alignment with the mission of the Aspire Family of Churches: to make disciples of Jesus and equip those who do. This individual will lead outreach and discipleship efforts in the Hispanic community, build a launch team, and develop a congregation that becomes a self-sustaining Neighborhood Church.
Key Roles
- Preach and teach biblically grounded, Gospel-centered messages in Spanish
- Lead weekly worship services and Neighborhood Groups
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership to Hispanic members
- Build and disciple a launch team of 35+ adults
- Apprentice with Aspire staff and collaborate across AFC
- Represent the Hispanic congregation on the Aspire Family Council
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate weekly worship services
- Develop and multiply small groups in Spanish
- Provide pastoral care including counseling, hospital and home visits
- Administer the ordinances of baptism and communion
- Lead the launch team and cultivate generosity
- Integrate Hispanic believers into the broader Aspire Church Family where appropriate
- Participate in AFC training and meetings
- Report progress toward sustainability to the AFC Council
Skills & Knowledge
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
- Biblical and theological knowledge consistent with Aspire’s essential beliefs
- Church planting and small group multiplication experience preferred
- Pastoral sensitivity, humility, and cultural intelligence

Education & Experience
- Committed Christian and active member of a local church
- Ministry training and/or theological education preferred
- Experience in Hispanic ministry or church leadership strongly preferred
