The College Ministry Pastor serves Southland by connecting lost and broken college students to Jesus and the local church. This role partners with campus ministries across multiple college campuses across Central Kentucky. The College Ministry Pastor will also support the Young Adults ministry in executing events and making pastoral connections.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with campus ministries, faculty, and students across multiple colleges.
- Develop creative and intentional ways to engage students and integrate them into the life of the church.
- Collaborate with Groups and Local Outreach teams at all five Southland campuses to reach college students in Central Kentucky.
- Lead in the planning, coordination, and execution of college ministry events and gatherings.
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteers for various college ministry roles.
- Partner with the Young Adults ministry to build, innovate, and expand both College and Young Adult Ministries.
- Help create a seamless transition for college students to stay connected to the local church post graduation.
- Oversee pastoral care connections with college students.
- Manage and maintain the ministry’s annual budget.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Current or previous involvement serving with college ministry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated and humble.
- A strategic and innovative thinker with a strong work ethic.
- Member, or willing to become an active member of Southland Christian Church who supports our Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision, and Strategies.
- Follows the lifestyle guardrails of Southland and conducts their personal life according to the teaching of the church.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday and does include some nights and weekends.
