POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creation and management of digital and print designs. This role involves overseeing all graphic design projects, refining concepts and drafts, and generating innovative ideas. As a Senior Graphic Designer at ICM, you will develop high-impact visuals that advance our mission, ensure brand consistency across platforms, and deliver creative solutions that inspire. Key responsibilities include producing visual media for internal and global campaigns, mentoring junior designers, driving creative strategies, and delivering a wide range of digital and print assets in alignment with ICM’s brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership: Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions and contribute to impactful communication materials for internal campaigns and global events.
Brand Integrity: Ensure all digital and print assets adhere to ICM’s brand standards, maintaining consistency and distinction across platforms.
Visual Design & Production: Design high-quality visual elements—including logos, layouts, and iconography—for print and web; perform technical tasks such as retouching, resizing, and archiving files.
Multi-Channel Design: Create and direct design for diverse outputs, including digital campaigns, social media, websites, out-of-home (OOH), print, donor decks, event branding, merchandise, and film campaigns.
Creative Strategy: Contribute as both a designer and creative thinker, evolving the visual system while ensuring brand consistency.
Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, videographers, campaign leads, and cross-functional teams in fundraising, partnerships, and marketing operations.
Concept Translation: Transform campaign concepts into clear, memorable designs that inspire donors and reinforce the mission.
Vendor & Partner Management: Support and direct freelancers and agency partners to ensure work meets the highest creative standards; manage relationships with printers and vendors.
UX/UI Application: Apply UX/UI principles to web and digital projects, bringing ideas to life using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable platforms).
Innovation: Explore new mediums—such as experiential activations, physical spaces, and cultural moments—to amplify design impact.
Craft & Experimentation: Uphold excellence in design while embracing creative experimentation to advance the brand.
Mentorship: Act as a guide and mentor, providing feedback and ensuring quality standards.
Project Management: Establish and maintain aggressive deadlines, production
schedules, and workflows to deliver high-quality work that is on time.
Assignments and duties may evolve to accommodate the needs of the ministry.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
● A follower of Jesus Christ with a servant heart for missions and nurturing believers.
● Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group.
● Design Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft applications, Sketch, Figma, and Adobe After Effects; experience with Dreamweaver and Flash on Mac platform is a plus.
● Creative Direction & Execution: Ability to take concepts and develop comprehensive visual strategies, brand and campaign briefs, producing assets that align with brand standards and campaign objectives.
● Portfolio & Craft: Strong portfolio demonstrating premium, campaign-based design work that is innovative, impactful, and culturally relevant.
● Conceptual & Technical Balance: Skilled at combining high-level conceptual thinking with meticulous attention to detail in execution.
● Digital Design Experience: Proven ability to design for digital platforms including email, apps, blogs, and social media, with an understanding of user engagement and conversion principles.
● Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in multi-disciplinary teams and communicates effectively across departments.
● Project Management: Ability to self-manage, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and coordination skills.
● Adaptability & Innovation: Comfortable working in version-controlled environments; adept at translating abstract ideas into compelling visuals for diverse audiences.
● Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with current design trends, technologies, and UX/UI principles; ability to acquire knowledge of program policies and procedures as needed.
● Experience & Education: Minimum 5–7 years of professional design experience; Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
