Our mission is to work in areas of limited infrastructure by using construction projects and practical service to speed the Gospel to those who have never heard. FIA impacts missions through full-Ame international workers, short-term ministry work and volunteer service. People skilled in the various trades (such as carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, automotive maintenance, and welding) serve alongside national and international Gospel workers to help overcome site-specific infrastructure and development challenges.
Job Overview
FIA is seeking a driven and compassionate Director of Partnership Development who shares a passion for our mission and a heart for relational ministry and partnership building. As a member of FIA’s senior leadership team, this role will help shape organizational culture within the Partnership Development team. The Director will be responsible for managing the team in accomplishing annual goals and developing the structure, infrastructure, and resources necessary to advance FIA’s partnership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead FIA’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, including short-, mid-, and long-term plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Cultivate and steward major donors ($5,000+), manage annual giving programs, monthly initiatives, and planned giving strategies, ensuring personalized engagement and donor trust.
• Strengthen relationships with churches, networks, businesses, and mission partners to boost support and participation.
• Oversee fundraising events and campaigns to maximize donor engagement and ROI.
• Monitor donor trends, identify new opportunities, track KPIs, and report progress for strategic refinement.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a leader in donor/partnership development, demonstrating a strong ability to build relationships (converting relationships into engagement).
• Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, build a strong team, and drive effective teamwork.
• Deep alignment with FIA’s goals, mission, and walk of faith.
• Willingness to travel (nationally/internationally) and work flexible hours.
• Possess an understanding of proven fundraising methods and approaches, both current and contextual.
