STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP & PLANNING

  • Align fundraising strategies with TeenPact’s vision and goals, in partnership with the CEO.
  • Set and track objectives, collaborate with CEO to design the annual Dev team/fundraising budget, oversee fundraising budgets, strategies, and metrics, and advocate for a culture of philanthropy across staff and board.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on major donor relationships and high-impact fundraising projects, including the Spring Giving Drive and End-of-Year Campaign.

Each year, select 1–2 streams most likely to move the $1M needle and focus there. Other streams may remain in a holding pattern until staff capacity increases.*

DONOR CULTIVATION & PARTNERSHIPS

  • For major donors, develop individualized engagement plans and partner with the CEO and Board to strengthen donor commitments.
  • Introduce other giving options (i.e. stock, DAF, QCD) and planned giving appropriately within donor relationships.
  • Map out appropriate donor cultivation strategies to retain and grow donor retention across all donor segments.
  • Collaborate with CEO, Development Administrative Assistant, Field Directors, volunteers, and board members to increase the number of donors and overall donor engagement each year.
  • Host and participate in donor visits, calls, and small-group gatherings.
  • Provide leadership for donor gatherings, coordinating with CEO, Development Administrative Assistant, Field Directors, volunteers, and board members to ensure successful events.

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN STRATEGY & OVERSIGHT

  • Own strategy and outcomes for the Spring Giving Drive and End-of-Year Campaign, and any other campaigns and fundraising initiatives planned with the CEO.
  • Partner with Communications on campaign execution (with these responsibilities mainly belonging to the Comms team: writing, design, distribution).
  • Ensure campaign messaging reflects major donor priorities and supports long-term fundraising growth.

*REVENUE STREAM DEVELOPMENT

  • Strategically strengthen 1–2 additional revenue streams, including National and State Class sponsorships, ensuring alignment with major donor development and the $1M short-term goal.
  • Coordinate with the Development Administrative Assistant and other employee team members and volunteers for operational support.
  • Explore opportunities to consolidate sponsorships and Strategic Partnerships into a single staff role in the future.

BOARD & LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENT
